Excellent premises, excellent service

Pros: Excellent service. Staff very courteous and always helpful. Spacious room and spotlessly clean. Very good restaurants within the premises (particularly the Japanese); good breakfast.

Cons: No complaints.

Pros: Pleasant stay, everything taken care of. Perfect family hotel within 25 min walking distance to main city centre

Pros: Good hotel with very nice rooms and 2 restaurants + bar inside the structure, which could be your only option viewed the situation in San Jose during the night.

Great hotel with extraordinary staff

Pros: One of the best hotel experiences ever! We were being scammed by the taxi driver but we were rescued by the security staff of the hotel, a very helpful and friendly man. He really stood up for us. Additionally, we were offered a room upgrade and so we received access to the Club Lounge. Room was not big but modern and comfortable. The hotel staff is really doing everything they can to serve you.

Cons: It is a pity that the hotel never responded to my request for pick-up service (sent months before check-in date). The taxi issues could have been avoided. I just received an out-of-office reply. Lesson learnt for myself: repeat the question closer to the check-in date.

Very comfortable and amazing breakfast

Pros: Amazing breakfast, with many delicious options. The staff were very kind and concerned about ensuring our best experience. It was a 10-minute walk to good restaurants.

Great staycation

Pros: Location is excellent. Food in both restaurants was very good

Pros: Great hotel and amazing staff members - warm, incredibly polite, efficient, reactive and so welcoming. The staff was what stood out for me in terms of their willingness and efforts which made us feel ever so welcome. Our stay definitely mattered to them!! Great and varied breakfast and again, the restaurant staff went out of their way to make sure each guest was well served. I would definitely go back to this hotel. Most tour operators also pick up from this hotel.

Cons: I liked everything.

Pros: I liked almost everything about this hotel. If you're looking for a full-service, bigger and comfortable place to stay, this is the spot. We stayed here for our last night in San Jose and it was really comfortable after running around Costa Rica. What you expect from a bigger, chain style hotel. I regret not booking here for our first two nights in San Jose at the beginning of our trip. It was a bit more expensive than the Radisson Park that we booked (don't book there), but in retrospect it would have been wise to pay the extra and stay at the Crown Plaza. Plus the Avis office that we rented our car from is there. BTW, our car rental with Avis went fine and was cheaper than Adobe, assuming they release the multiple holds they still have on my card.

Cons: Although the service in the Nazarro (sp?) restaurant was great, the food was so-so. We had fun at the casino right next door however.

Smart reasonable hotel

Pros: Good location about 3km walk to centre. Check in parking all easy. Room spacious. Big bed

Cons: Maybe complimentary water would have been nice?
