Good for a group

Pros: The rooms were quite spacious and very clean. The beds were comfortable and the staff was also very helpful and nice despite us arriving late at night.

Cons: The location is quite far from the hot spots in San José. It's a big house in a quite neighborhood but I think it only works if you have a car. Not recommended for solo travelers

A good reasonably priced placed place for exploring San Jose

Pros: Large room, nice area and nice staff, good value for money

Cons: Room a little close to noisy breakfast area especially after arriving very late. Breakfast filling buy very simple.

A little haven in the suburbs

Pros: I liked the welcome as soon as I arrived. All the details for using the remote controls were explained in detail and where I could get a meal locally. I found the staff really nice and well presented. The room was a large inviting place with lovely paintings on the walls. Good aircon and in a quiet place on the balcony above the beautiful pool where they have 2 inquisitive turtles and Koi carp. It's a small haven surrounded by beautiful palms. Breakfast is good with fresh fruits, juice and great coffee. There's also homemade breads and jams which are nice. I would stay here again.

Peace in the city.

Pros: Perfect for a short stay. It's situated in a beautiful area very close to amenities. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good with homemade breads and jams. There's a lovely quiet area in the garden surrounded by palm trees and a little pond with Koi carp and 2 turtles. You wouldn't think you were near the city, it's sublime.

Cons: Unfortunately the room I was in was quite noisy. Sounded like a generator on most of the night. My second night I was woken up at 2am with what sounded like trapped air in the water pipes. The staff and the breakfast made up for it though. I still would return but maybe not in the same room..

Pros: The open jungly courtyard was lovely, woke up feeling like we were in the jungle Friendly and helpful staff

Cons: It was a little dated and not as close to the city center as was described. 15 min taxi to shopping center and restaurant.

Pros: Great place to stay if you plan to stay one or two nights when you arrive in San Jose, well located between the airport and the center. Nice breakfast and dining area.

Cons: The rooms could use a bit of love/decoration.

Pros: Location, location... its very important! close to the USA embassy. There is only two spaces for parking but the guard is around all night.! The place still needs some details to cover but it is very good. The front desk is very polite and they helped a lot !

Cons: MOSQUITOSSSS my God... they were hard on us during breakfast... use repellent before going for breakfast! NOBODY is opening the doors when you arrive late at night!! beware of that issue specially like us that arrived on a 5 hours late flight from Houston... NOBODY answered by phone or at the front door, only the guard from the main road helped us to enter.
