A bit of lush

Pros: This is a lush place. The staff were very polite and obliging. It was lovely being next to the river. We enjoyed the hot tubs and the restaurant.

Cons: It was a bit cold. It would be good to provide coffee for the machine in the room. Also some instructions and a map.

Outstanding! Best hotel in Costa Rica

Pros: Well located hotel with two swimming pools, a jacuzzi and gym. Rooms were clean and modern with large, comfortable beds. Breakfast was good too. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Cons: Only small downside is the gym is outside so it gets very hot

Beautiful location in which to unwind and explore the local area.

Pros: Stunning location and grounds. Beautiful pool area. Rooms spacious and high spec. 20 minutes walk into the centre of La Fortuna.

Cons: Limited vegetarian food, both breakfast and other meals.

Pros: The hotel is great and people were very nice. We stayed in a room where you could hear the river all the time, so if thats the kind of thing that would disturb your sleep, please be aware. Swimming pools were good and it has some nice sport amenities including a gym.

Cons: Breakfast is not buffet which is fine, but would be nice to have some more options with fruit. The sports place had a pool table that couldnt be used and ping pong table was broken. If you cant use these you would be better off removing them.

Pros: Beautiful hotel in extensive and well-kept grounds. Spacious and comfortable apartment.

Cons: The whole experience felt a little like a luxury prison! The double entrance gates and the multiple penalty threats (“smoking - $500 penalty”, “lost key - $200 penalty…)

Pros: The feeling of seclusion in La Fortuna. An oasis. Very safe. Staff was helpful in booking local activities. Very beautiful grounds

Cons: Staff could have been more helpful in recommending places to eat. While the restaurant was excellent in food quality and service, consistency of meals varied from day to day. All very good just not the same

Lovely hotel - would stay here again

Pros: We really loved it here. Very clean and comfortable. We watched a while group of monkeys playing in the trees whilst we were swimming. Really enjoyed sitting in the deck relaxing.

Cons: The breakfast was ok but got a little boring after a few days

Pros: The hotel was lovely. Our room was stand-alone, with a private terrace and jacuzzi. Everything was very clean, and the reception and restaurant staff friendly and helpful. We frequently walked to the centre which took about 20 minutes.

Calming oasis in the jungle with kind staff and delicious food!

Pros: This is such a fantastic hotel. A beautiful jungle setting, great pools for adults only and family, wonderful staff and delicious food. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!
