Hotel Villas Vilma

Pros: We stayed at Villas Vilma for 3 nights. The property is absolutely beautiful with amazing landscaping. We especially appreciated the very central location of this stay - a few minutes away from all major attractions (La Fortuna waterfall, Mystico bridges, restaurants, sloth and coffee tours, souvenier shops).Right opposite the villas was one of the best sodas we ate at during our travels in Costa Rica- Soda El Turnito was an amazing find! The villa had a fridge and microwave which was convenient. We enjoyed lazing in our own personal villa hammock and the hot jacuzzi outside on chilly and rainy days. Very family and kid friendly accommodation. The team at Villas Vilma was so pleasant, helpful, and accommodating.

Pros: Absolutely gorgeous grounds. Enjoyed eating breakfast on our terrace with views of the volcano. The gardens are impeccable and the pool is perfect to relax after a busy day. The little kitchen had everything we needed and our room was cleaned everyday.

Pros: A lovely, small-scale complex with a beautiful swimming pool and a nice jacuzzi, which we almost had entirely to ourselves during our stay. There are also good restaurants nearby. The price-quality ratio is excellent. You can hear some traffic, but for us, it wasn’t disturbing and, considering all the advantages, we gladly accepted it.

Perfect affordable option in La Fortuna

Pros: We had a wonderful stay. Rooms are not too big but just as you need it, and the grounds are spectacular especially the pool.

Cons: It is after all close to the main road just as moet of the lodgings in la Fortuna and especially the rooms close to the gate can be a bit noisy.

Fantastic place with excellent facilities

Pros: Fantastic accommodation in an incredible setting. Beautiful garden, great pool and hot tub. Excellent location near some good restaurants.

Cons: Wish we were staying longer!

Amazing Arenal volcano views, the grounds garden and fantastic pool to cool off after a day of activities

Pros: The amazing view of the Arenal volcano directly in front of the accommodation, lovely gardens and pool for relaxation.

Perfect for families - beautiful gardens and great pool

Pros: A real gem of a place! Spotless room, with a view of the volcano. Beautiful gardens filled with birdlife and perfect pool complete with huge hot tub. Our young children loved running around the gardens and it felt safe because of the gate closed off to the main road. Amazing value and to top it off the staff were lovely and really helpful in booking activities, helping contact our car rental company when we had an issue with the car.

A great base for visiting the Arenal volcano.

Pros: The structure is very beautiful and clean. There is a very large garden. And the volcano can be seen directly from the property, a super view. We had a small kitchenette area, with plates, cutlery, and a coffee machine. So we prepared a fruit breakfast with coffee. The supermarket is nearby, as well as many nice places.

Pros: The location on the edge of town was great. Location was great for access to all the activities on the volcano side. The view was fabulous and the pool was perfect. The soda across the street was fabulous too!

Cons: It is close to the road, so in the mornings there was a bit of traffic noise. Nothing that would deter me from returning, though.
