Highly recommend

Pros: The view was unbelievable. The photos dont do it justice.

Cons: Around a 30 min walk to town - but taxis are organised by the staff and cost around $5 Conservatory room gets quite warm but cool bath/ open door solves that problem.

Amazing experience

Pros: The view from the room was magical! We loved this place and all the nature around it. This is an amazing option close to Monteverde town with a view that you need to check by yourself! We will come back whenever we come back to Monteverde.

Cons: Nothing, everything was perfect!

Large self catering apartment, with stunning views. Very peaceful

Pros: Amazing views over the landscape. Peaceful tranquil area. Massive rooms with large beds. The grounds and surrounding space is very clean and tidy. good location, lots of shops in the area.

Cons: There's no kettle in the room. The bathroom door came off the hinges and needed lifting to close. Not a fan of throwing toilet paper in the bin.

A little slice of heaven.

Pros: The views are absolutely stunning, such a peaceful place. I saw hummingbirds and agoutis just from the terrace area. I had no creepy crawlies in my room despite all the warnings! Glory on reception at Rainbow Valley goes above and beyond to help make your trip one to remember. The wine and grill restaurant is really convenient given how far from the town you are, and they do a really good steak!

Sunset Vista Lodge is a gem!

Pros: Amazing views and spacious accommodation. A whole apartment on two floors with huge bathrooms, one even with a jacuzzi. Unbeatable value for money. Gloriana who checked us in is a treasure. Thank you for the many valuable tips and hints about the property, restaurants and tours. Restaurant Tropico close by is a very good, Italian restaurant and really to recommend.

Cons: There is little to complain about, just suggestions. Missed a safe somehow but did not feel unsafe in general.

Would definitely come back

Pros: Very nice, clean, comfortable and quiet house with an amazing panorama. Luckily the sky just cleared when we arrived so we were able to appreciate the view. We stayed for 2 nights only. We highly appreciated the personnel of the reception that helped us organise our activities. A plus was also the laundry service. We would definitely stay there again if we came back to Monteverde.

Cons: there was nothing to complain about
