Pros: • Convenient Location: Only 12 minutes from La Fortuna and very close to Arenal National Park and other top attractions. • Property: The grounds are stunning, lush with trees, and full of local wildlife. • Breakfast: A great variety of options and everything was delicious.

Cons: • Room Condition: The room had a noticeable odor, and the curtains and some surfaces didn't feel 100% clean. • Comfort: The pillows were a bit too large and firm for my liking.

Cons: Breakfast could be improved a bit. The little sausages are not up to the quality of the rest of the fare and every hotel in La Fortuna has them. Bland. Don't be like the others. Be better. The containers of scrambled eggs and pancakes ran too low late in the serving periods all three mornings we attended. The pancake recipe is not up to standards as well. Reconsider the use of any margarine or at least that particular one. It's really poor. It has no taste even distantly like real butter. Kudos for José who did provide real butter on our request. The hair dryer in our room (210) would run for only a few seconds and shut down. I've had this happen before and it's from restricted air flow. Usually a good cleaning will revive it.

Pros: Lots of perks! Generous check in/check out times. Free snacks, free wine. Quiet, spacious, good price, great food (the breakfast has a great selection) the wildlife is lovely and the grounds are a lot of fun to walk around and explore. Hot springs are nice. Grounds are extremely well maintained. Very good for the price.

Cons: The bathrooms and decor are quite outdated and aged.

Lovely hotel

Pros: Great spot to stay in La Fortuna. Amazing flora all around you and lots of birdlife. Personal hot tub was cool (and very hot)! Swim up bar was nice and food was very good, breakfast especially.

Cons: Continuous cloud so couldn’t see the volcano at all!

Quiet and comfortable hotel at La Fortuna

Pros: This hotel sits on a large property, we stayed in a room with a small thermal pool in a garden visited by plenty of birds. The location is very quiet, the room is large, the personnel helps a lot on any issue. We were able to do a small laundry, still very expensive but also very helpful. From all the places we've been in Costa Rica this hotel had the best breakfast, with very good quality products. One can see also plenty of birds around the breakfast zone, the pool and the gardens. The hotel has a very nice thermal pool with multiple small pools accessible over night. It also has a normal pool. We really enjoyed it.

Cons: The temperature in the thermal pool was clearly too high. The thermal pool in the room was just not usable one day, clearly too hot. The large thermal zone was also on the edge. Other locations in the area have the temperature much better set.
