Pros: It’s in the middle of a beautiful forest and right next to the beach which is white sand. The hotel design is marvelous, the rooms are spacious ; the beach bar and cocktails are great. Enough space for everyone, so it doesn’t feel crowded. The beds and pillows are conformance and very soft. The breakfast had a huge variety for everyone

Cons: The dinners are hits and miss type of thing. I would expect gourmet cuisine, but was not impressed. I liked the seas bass at Coucine de Mercado. I would definitely skip the Mexican cuisine night. The personnel doesn’t seem to be maturely friendly ( as opposed to all other places we’ve been so far in Costa Rica ), but it is more liked learned phrases and imposed on them. The prices for the meals are very expensive for that quality

Exclusive Resort catering to your needs

Pros: W Playa Conchal is a high end all inclusive resort that caters to the needs of its guests. If you are looking for a cheap, rowdy party resort to overindulge - this isnt for you. The staff were simply outstanding and genuinely friendly, wanting to ensure our stay was exceptional. Their were so many staff members that were outstanding it would be unfair to name one individually. The 3 restaurants provided excellent meals and catered to specific dietary requirements. We highly recommend purchasing the all inclusive package to include meals and drinks. We loved our room with the spacious bathroom, balcony and very comfortable bed. The pools were excellent and close to the beach which was pristine and uncrowded. We had a very relaxing week at W Conchal, and although it is our first time to the beautiful country of Costa Rica, it wont be our last and definitely we will be returning to W Playa Conchal

Pros: Hotel descolado, o projeto do quarto é otimo, na cama o ventodo ar condicionado não vem diretamente sobre a gente, vista bonita, tudo muito bem mantido, tudo muito bonito, a praia é super natural e dá para ver um por do sol muito bonito de lá.

Cons: Piscina gelada poucas pessoas entravam de verdade na piscina. Na area da piscina wifi intermitente mesmo após técnico fazer uma configuração que não resolveu, não é problema de sinal, mas sim intermitente. Poderiam ter mais opções sem glútem no restaurante do beach club Blue.

Loved the amenities, hate its remote location.

Pros: beach, pools, room, service met my expectations for a luxury 5 star restort. Highly recommend it if you want a relaxing getaway in a beautiful setting.

Cons: The one major drawback is it's remoteness. The hotel is located in a nature reserve. It's a ten minute drive to the main gate. If you haven't rented a car which you don't want to do because the roads are awful, you are going to pay lots just to get in and out the place by cab. Really hard to recommend W Conchal if you are looking to explore the area, visit nearby towns or eat out. If you are there for a week, add $400 US for transportation to and from nearby towns and at least 60 to 90 minutes (to and from) every time you venture out. W has you hostage for your stay and their food is hotel resort average and expensive.

Schöner Sonnen- und Beach Club mit hervorragender Golfanlage

Pros: Eine wunderschöne Resortanlage mit tollem Zimmer und Meerblick

Cons: Die Türme sind weit auseinander liegend, in denen die Zimmer untergebracht sind und man muss damit relativ weite Wege absolvieren. Insbesondere auch zum Strand ist der Weg relativ lang, wofür allerdings ein guter Shuttleservice zur Verfügung gestellt wird.

Pros: Lovely location people were friendly services.Great food was excellent period

Cons: Had some problems with getting the correct full order on room service.They would forget a coffee cup.Live forget better or something small like that

Tolles Rundum Packet

Pros: Tolle Architektur Schöne Anlage, es gibt immer wieder was zu entdecken, direkt am Strand Tiere leben in der Anlage Tolles Frühstück Toller Service auch am Strand mit den Liegen Ein zerschlissenes Kissen auf dem Balkonstuhl wurde prompt ausgetauscht. Toller Front Desk 🫶🏻

Cons: Lange Wege von T3 zum Strand, man geht nicht mal so eben auf‘s Zimmer … im Zimmer war schon alles ein bisschen angeschranbbelt, aber dennoch sehr bequem. Doppel Dusche die auf den Balkon führt fanden wir super. Service in den Restaurants war uns zu „doll“, zu persönlich

Pros: Lo que mas me gusto fue las instalaciones en general, pero mas la habitacion, bien equipada, y su vista al oceano. Excelente atencion del personal en todas sus areas.

Cons: Lo que menos me gusto fue la espera en el check-in, y para mala suerte la habitacion tenia un problema y no esta lista. Una de las noches la habitación de abajo tenia una reunion de varias personas y hablaban muy fuerte y se sentia mucho el olor a marijuana en el balcon. Creo que la atencion en el servicio de bar en la playa podria mejorar mucho.

Beautiful hotel, awful food

Pros: This a beautiful property with well appointed rooms. The large walking shower with lots of natural light is terrific. All the rooms are away from common areas making it very quiet. The housekeeping and turn down services are very well done and the property security is very good.

Cons: The food quality was really poor. Being in Costa Rica I was looking forward to fresh food. The kitchen was all low quality prepared foods. Although the staff worked to avoid a food alley of mine, the prepared foods were so full Soy they were unable to avoid it easily. A hotel of the level should not be buying dough for breads and pre-cook potatoes. Dinner food were more thought out but very bland. If you have a car there are several good food options near by and they are worth the drive time to avoid eating on property.
