Hotel Arenal by Regina

Central La Fortuna location and ideal for starting tours from.

Pros: A great location in La Fortuna, the hotel is modern, clean and benefits from having shared kitchen facilities available. This meant that we could cook our own breakfast in the mornings rather than have the hotel breakfast. We had a basic double room without the volcano view, the room was spacious enough, clean comfy bed and good shower.

Cons: One staff member was a bit grumpy and lots of rules to follow when using the kitchen.

Family stay

Pros: Very nice, clean, cozy rooms with great stuff. 5 stars 🤩

Perfect for me

Pros: Extremely helpful and friendly lady at reception as were other staff members. Close to food shops and restaurants.

Great value

Pros: Large comfortable room. Clean, even a balcony with volcano view. Well I'm told you can see the volcano, if it ever stops raining. It didn't... so this is hearsay.

Cons: Next to busy road, so subsequent noise.

Pros: Excellent location within walking distance from many restaurants and supermarkets. Nice and clean rooms too! I would definitely recommend!

Pros: Good location, beautiful room and good vibe! Excellent service! Adrian was really helpful and kind. I would come back!

Pros: Excellent service by the staff and professionalism by Toni who gave such glowing recommendations on the activities available.

Great value and a comfortable stay.

Pros: It was a clean, compact room, they’ve stored luggage for my return.
